Hello Stampers!
Today I am sharing one of my favorite type of projects to make: mini albums. Making mini albums can be a bit time consuming depending on the complexity of the album but they are just so much fun to make and share with loved ones. The album I am sharing today is a relatively simple one and if you are new to these kinds of projects, you can definitely start with one like this as a beginner.
The cover was created with chip board and Whisper White. The pattern paper is the Tropical Escape DSP from the 2018-2019 Annual catalog. I am in love with the colors. They are so bright and happy.
On the inside front cover is a small pocket where photos or journal cards can be placed.
The inside of the album is an accordion style insert. I added DSP and card stock on the pages and also stamped a few images. The book can be stood up to display pictures or closed and laid on a table just waiting to be enjoyed.
I hope you enjoyed this project. If you would like to make this project with me, I will be doing a live event on June 19th. Check my Facebook page closer to the event for more details. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate you!
Have a fantastic day!
The finished size of the album is 6 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, the spine is 1 1/4″
The pages are four sheets of Whisper White cut to 9 1/4″ x 6 3/8″. I scored on the long side @ 1/2″ and then at 4 7/8″ using my simply scored tool.
