Howdy! This week it’s time for another one sketc Howdy! This week it’s time for another one sketch three cards, or what I like to call a “1 & 3”. This is one of my favorite things to do. I love taking a simple sketch and trying out the same layout but with different colors, images, or techniques. I know I have said this countless times, but this scenario is so great if you want to stretch your creative muscles. Also, with things being financially tight for so many of us this is a great way to be creative without having to purchase a bunch of supplies because the whole point is to use what you have on hand already. I don’t know about you but sometimes I just need to make something fast cause it should have been mailed…like…uh…yesterday. Am I the only one who forgets to mail cards on time? This week I am sharing a layout that works well with our DSP “cut outs” or our DSP that comes with already die cut pieces. In this case I am using the He’s The Man DSP paper pack. There are so many cut out that you could do a bunch of cards and have them ready. You may even create a gift set for someone so they would have cards ready to send…like that guy in your life that doesn’t like the “girly” look but would still send cards if they were more manly. There are lots of ways you can adhere the leafing and a little goes a long way so you don’t need a lot to add some beautiful elegance to your project. I really liked this DSP so I used the colors in it to direct the rest of the colors used in the project.
