The moment I saw the Perennial Essence Suite I was smitten. Impressionistic art is some of my favorite style of art and so this suite speaks to my heart. The DSP can be placed in a frame and stand alone as framed artwork for the wall or utilized in the creation of cards, scrapbook pages, or gifts that are sure to bring a smile to someone’ face.
Today I am sharing one of the cards that you may have seen in my recent Workshop Wednesday. I had fun making this card and the elements from the suite certainly make it easy to pull a beautiful card together. I hope you will give it a try. Thanks for taking a minute to stop by today, I appreciate you!
The dimensions of the card are:
Old Olive CS 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Perennial Essence DSP 4″ x 5 1/4″ & 2″ x 4
Vellum CS 2 1/2″ x 4″
Petal Pink CS 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Perennial Essence Vellum CS 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Whisper White CS 2 1/2″ c 2 1/2″
*I also used whisper white embossing powder for the glowers and the image along the bottom of the vellum and a bit of white baker’s twine for a bow tucked under one of the flower. Don’t forget to add some dimension under the greeting piece and the front flower with a couple of dimensionals.
