Hello Stampers!

Up for a little adventure? How about a quick creative trip? Let’s go!

Today I am sharing a very simple but delightful project.  I had some extra notebooks left over from a class and thought it would be fun to personalize one into an adventure journal.  The Take to the Sky suite, just recently released from the Stampin’ Up!, was obviously the perfect choice for my creative adventure today.

Here’s the low down on how I made this fun little journal. I stamped the clouds onto the notebook in Early Espresso ink and colored them in using a white colored pencil.  When those were done, I die cut the plane body from the “metal panel” pattern DSP.  I used Night of Navy for the other body part and Smoky Slate for the propeller.  The clouds were all die cut from Basic White card stock and I did two sets of them. The DSP I used was, one strip measuring 2”x 5 5/16” and two pieces that were 1”x 2 ¾”. I arranged the elements as  you see in the photos and she’s ready for take off!

I was surprised at how fast the project came together, which is always a plus when you are short on time. Now, I am not sure I want to give it away, I may have to make another so I can keep one, lol.  Have some extra notebooks laying around? Why not give this project a try? Happy landing!

Thanks for stopping, I hope you have a fantastic day!
